Marco is married to a gorgeous woman, has a child and a great job. Everything seems perfect, at least until his wife of 25 years announces that she has another man and wants a separation. Marco is forced to leave home.
In the Tiber sports club, Alberto, a ruthless property developer, the cynical surgeon who makes thirty million dollars after a prostate operation, the actor exhausted by failure and the failed salesman who sells caviar by discounting prices and who tries to make up for continuous overdrafts in the bank, meet. There is also the starlet with a Venetian accent and the hateful scion with a Ferrari, the waiter who dreams of being the scion and the jeweler who loses his house, wife and wealth because of the hot Spanish woman.
Andrea, Maurizio and Sergio are professional idlers, lazy, indolent and full of inventiveness. Maurizio is engaged to the policewoman Anna, of whom he is extremely jealous, Sergio still lives with his mother and Andrea is tyrannized by his wife and his brother-in-law, a former boxer. When a crew arrives in town to shoot a commercial, Andrea and Sergio meet two actresses; in the meantime, Maurizio is dumped by Anna. The three spend a large sum of money on a scratch card to travel to Sardinia in search of the actresses in the commercial.
