Rinko and Shinpei are reporters for a rival weekly magazine. Rinko was investigating the love affair between popular stars Masahiko and Mingdai, but was caught by Shinpei in a scoop. So she concocts a scandal involving the earnest rakugo performer Manchou, but when Representative Karasawa proposes protecting the privacy of celebrities in the Diet, she and Shinpei begin a battle for coverage that will expose Karasawa's private life.
Kimiko, who came from the countryside, gets a job at a travel agency, but the manager she is introduced to is Yu, who was the person who molested her on the train. Feeling somewhat responsible, Yu teaches her the job and also gently guides her to become a more urban woman. Kimiko begins to have feelings for him, but is shocked to find out that Yu secretly loves Eri, the secretary to a client's president. Mototsugu Watanabe is a highly revered filmmaker in the Pink Eiga world. A consummate entertainer, he was born December 2nd, 1957 in Tokyo and studied filmmaking at Nihon University. From there he entered Mukai Productions (the ‘father of Pink Eiga’, Kan Mukai’s production company), where he was mentored by such Pink Eiga giants as Kan Mukai, Shuji Kataoka (“S&M Hunter”) and Academy Award® Winner Yojiro Takita (“Departures”). Watanabe made his directing debut in 1983, going on to direct over 100 films. In 2001 he established his own production company, Nabe Cinema, through which he has actively continued making Pink Eiga in every genre imaginable including, As a result, he has large fan following and is regarded as the number one cult Pink Eiga director.
