David Emanuel Hoffman (born November 14, 1953) is an American writer, journalist, and contributing editor to The Washington Post. He won a Pulitzer Prize in 2010 for a book about the legacy of the nuclear arms race and in 2024 for articles on new technologies and the tactics authoritarian regimes use to repress dissent.
