During the pandemic lock-down, A motivational speaker named Kalidas moves into the thirteenth floor of an apartment in Kochi. Soon Kalidas begins to observe supernatural elements around him and he decides to investigate.
Mahadevan Thampi (Sreenivasan), owner of the Sankaramangalam Hospital, gets cheated by his uncle Madhavan Thampi (Rajan P. Dev) into transferring the ownership of the hospital to Madhavan's London-educated daughter Nandini (Annie), by enticing Mahadevan with the false promise of giving Nandini's hand in marriage to him. However, Madhavan had his own slimy plans of getting Nandini married to Rajagopal (Mukesh), the new doctor in the hospital, but who in reality was a quack out to make some cash.
Kuttikrishnan (Jagadish), the illicit son of businessman Ananthan Nambiar, comes to Kochi to meet his dad, but a mix-up leaves him on the streets & another young man, Balagopalan (Mukesh), in his place as Nambiar's son. To expose Balagopalan, Kuttikrishnan teams up with cutpurse Mukundan (Jagathi) & car-thief Meenakshi (Annie), both of whom ensconce themselves in Nambiar's house as Kuttikrishnan's relatives. Meanwhile, Nambiar's manager Krishnadas was plotting to usurp Nambiar's assets.
Balabhaskaran (Jayaram) suffers from sleepwalking. He walks long distances in the night and many mishaps happen during this. He is cheated by his friend Johnie (Madhupal) who wants to extort some money from Balabaskar by blackmailing him. Balabasker's father marries him off to Chandrika in the hope that this will help him to get over his sleepwalking.

After a while, Anathakrishnan meets Gayathri Devi by coincidence in a hotel and she tells him about some striking scandals regarding the powerful state home minister Valappad Balakrishnan (NF Varghese). Gayathri Devi is suddenly killed under suspicious circumstances and Ananthapkrishnan is swept into her dangerous world.
Story revolves around two energetic men who lives in a city with their unsuccessful Kadhaprasangam troupe (story telling performance).
Chitra Shaji Kailas, popularly known as Annie is an Indian film actress. In her career span that lasted for just three years, with sixteen films, Annie was one among the successful lead actresses in Malayalam cinema during the mid-1990s. Her debut role was in Balachandra Menon's Ammayane Sathyam (1993). Her well known films include Mazhayethum Munpe (1995), Parvathy Parinayam (1995), Tom & Jerry (1995), Puthukkottayile Puthumanavalan (1995), and Swapna Lokathe Balabhaskaran (1996). She gave up acting after getting married to director Shaji Kailas, and is now settled in Thiruvananthapuram. She won Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam for her role in Mazhayethum Munpe.
